M. Lindsey Jacobs, PhD, MSPH, ABPP

Lindsey Jacobs, PhD, MSPH, ABPP, is the founder, producer, and co-host of The Geropsychology Podcast. She is a licensed clinical psychologist with board certification in Geropsychology. Her clinical interests are delivering evidence-based individual and group interventions to older adults and their caregivers, conducting decision-making and functional capacity evaluations, and working in interdisciplinary teams. Dr. Jacobs’ research interests include acceptance and commitment therapy for older adults, mindfulness-based interventions for caregivers, resident autonomy in long-term care, quality improvement and program evaluation, and geriatric training. @MLindseyJacobs

Rachel Weiskittle, PhD

Rachel Weiskittle, PhD, is the co-host of The Geropsychology Podcast. She earned her PhD in clinical psychology with a specialization in behavioral medicine. She is an incoming Advanced Research Fellow in Geriatrics at the New England Geriatric Research Education and Clinical Center and is currently completing her postdoctoral fellowship in Geropsychology. Dr. Weiskittle’s research focuses broadly on psychosocial factors influencing end-of-life experiences and adjustment to loss, with emphasis in developing translational clinical innovations for older adults and underserved and minority communities.
